English Camp, Egg Babies And Monopoly

Our English was a success! We originally wanted 18 kids, but I think the 11 that we had was perfect. If there were anymore in that small office I think I would’ve made them do a craft and had them paint and decorate their own walking sticks, but in the end I would reveal that their supposed walking sticks were in fact their own personalized beating sticks for me to use on them. That’s terrible. But seriously, I would’ve gone crazy. The camp was good times though and I think what I enjoyed the most was seeing them laugh and have fun playing games since most of their time is spent studying at school.

I was too lazy to censor this picture, but if you look closely you will see a nice little girl giving you the bird… Oh the youth.

Part of the camp involved each student to take care of a “baby” which was an egg. On the first day they made clothes and gave names to their newborns.

Happy kids.

There were some casualties.

On the last night the students had a slumber party at our places. The boys decided to play some Chinese Monopoly. I joined in. I already conquered American Monopoly, why not China too. After teaching them about dealing and playing shady, it was on. Scott, you would’ve been proud.

Start time: 12:00A
End time: 4:00A
Total time: 4 hours
Results: I came in 2nd…
Disclaimer: I only came in 2nd because I was helping the kid (Paul) who eventually won. So if I didn’t help him, I would’ve won… he just won out of a technicality.
