Saved By The Bell Petition
So this is the 20th anniversary of the hit show Saved By The Bell and Jimmy Fallon wants a Saved By The Bell reunion of the cast on his show, so he has a petition on his site you can sign here. What are you waiting for, go sign it! I remember watching this show every Saturday morning, and learning valuable lessons like:
Self-Confidence
Kelly gets a pimple. Not only that, but right before homecoming, AND she’s homecoming queen! NOOO. Out of desperation, and the lack of self-confidence, she uses a sketchy pimple cream that causes her face to completely turn maroon. But, with the help of her friends, she realizes she doesn’t need to impress people, and boldly goes on as planned. However, everyone has their faces painted maroon at the pep rally since Bayside’s school colors just happens to be…YEP, maroon!
Always Tell The Truth
Screech invites some friends over while his parents are out of town, and his mom’s favorite Elvis statue accidentally breaks. Instead of telling the truth, they throw another party to earn money for a new one. Mom finds out, and gets in even more trouble. Should’ve told the truth to begin with, Screech, you dimwit.
Drugs Are Bad!
Drugs are bad. This has got to be one of the top 10 moments in Saved By The Bell, no…my life. Jessie is an over-achiever by nature, and she feels she doesn’t have enough time to do anything. I mean, how can anyone handle geometry tests and performing as the “Hot Sundaes”? She resorts to drugs… As the drugs start taking over her life, her rendition of “I’m So Excited” sums up a life with drugs.
So go and sign the petition. You don’t know it, but you owe your life to them.
