Website: Pictory
Pictory is a new website that showcases submitted photos pertaining to a specific theme. From their website:
Pictory is a showcase for people around the world to document their lives and cultures. Anyone can submit one large, captioned image to each of Pictory’s editorial themes.
After the deadline for the theme, they’ll trim down the submitted photos to a few dozen photos and showcase them on their website. Currently, they have a great set about the city of San Francisco. Some of their other themes that are currently open for submission include “The House I Grew Up In” and “The One Who Got Away”. So far the themes seem fun, and gives me another fun thing to do with my photos. I would love to see my photo up on their website.
