Dang, I’ve heard about those vending machines in Japan! I even heard you can scan your phone to pay at some restaurants. I don’t know how it works, but apparently it somehow gets the job done. If it’s true, that is just insane.

they have those deep fried balls in your first picture at tea station. looks exactly the same. and why do i get the feeling you probably snickered when you read “deep fried balls?”

So jealous of the Studio Ghibli visit. I’ll check your Flickr for more pictures. And that crepe DEFINITELY kicks the snot out of those Beijing crepes we had. A WHOLE PIECE OF CHEESECAKE? SERIOUSLY? Well, actually, I’m sure most of Japan kicks the snot out of Beijing.
