I recently went through what some people would call a “new beginning”. My Mac for some reason couldn’t recognize my hard drive anymore, so ‘lo and behold, my two options came down to (as given to me by Shawn from the Apple Store) paying $500 to a different company to try to extract my data from the messed up hard drive, or just get it replaced and say goodbye to all my data. Well, I went with the latter since luckily I had a lot of my stuff backed up. Backed up in various places too I must say. My songs were in my iPod so I just transferred them back with Senuti. My photos were all on Flickr anyway. And most of my docs were stored on my external hard drive. Anyway, to my surprise, I was back up (no pun intended) and running within a few hours. So always remember to back up! One more advice, the Applecare is worth it, so always buy it if you’re purchasing a Mac. This was my second issue already (first one was a battery replacement).

I saw the latest installment of Rambo last night, and it’s just good times. The violence is over the top, but I guess adds to the good times since you see Rambo rip a guys throat out, and slice a guy’s abdomen open so that his insides just fall right out.

Plus he says things like, “Live for nothing, or die for something”. Haha, that was probably the best part since he won over these mercenaries to make him the leader by just that one line. I guess it’s just because he’s Rambo. Also don’t you love it when you know something other characters don’t know? I know this is called something because I took some film classes…can’t remember. For example, in Rambo, the leader of the mercenaries doesn’t know who Rambo is, so he talks to him like he’s a nobody. But the whole time, I know who he is, and all I’m saying in my mind is, “Oh snap, this guy doesn’t know who he’s messing with” and “Rambo’s gonna show this guys who’s boss”. I love that.

I was watching Food Network, and I noticed that Iron Chef Morimoto-San looks a lot like Randy Jackson of American Idol fame. Take a looksy.

Yes, No?
