The design of the bottle is cool too. Speaking of design, this is the best bottle of DC I’ve ever seen.

I love DC. As in Diet Coke. It’s water…but better. I only offer DC or water when people come to my house because I have no choice. Conclusion, Diet Coke is a big part of my life. With that said, Diet Coke is not that great in China. The DC or Coca Cola Light or Jianyi Kele (pinyin) has some weird aftertaste to it. Why must they tinker with a good thing?!!!! The best way I can describe it is imagine drinking DC from the soda fountain, but the carbonation to syrup ratio is a bit high. Like that. Usually when I sip on a Diet coke, my mind automatically thinks “Fun!” With the Chinese version, my mind says, “You are just drinking it for the sake of drinking.”

This forced me to other alternatives, and I decided to try Pepsi Light or Baishi Jianyi Kele. There’s actually flavor. Still, if I were to compare it to an authentic Diet Coke, the Pepsi Light would score way below it, but it’s better then the Coke Light they have here. The reason for this post? To let people know that I have temporarily switched over to Diet Pepsi while in China. I thought people should know that, and don’t you dare judge me about my loyalties to DC. I was drinking it before you even considered drinking it.
